EDU 560 June 8, 2011 Effective Instructional Strategy One example of an impelling instructional strategy that I have intentiond in my classroom has been to develop and demo a picture docket. Prior to the composition twenty-four hours of class, I prepare a daily enunciate of business for each twenty-four hour period of the week. We attach the clocks, labels, and pictures in order o n a poster to occasion a word and picture schedule for that day. This poster is displayed on a bulletin board. As a class, we create a picture schedule for each day of the week. The schedule for the day is always posted. I began using a picture schedule with a child with autism in my primal childhood classroom.

I found it not only expert for him, but for the balance of the class. I carried the idea with me to my current fist grade classroom.
