history In this project we explore the intersections of womens agency and discourses of wellness and disease. The project developed out of a written conversation mingled with us, scribbled on Heathers notebook during Emily Martins lecture one evening. It was prompted by a prior lecture, and an exchange in that days tutorial. In this written dialogue, we questioned the wellnessy-sick dichotomy. A fewer days later, we decided to find out what otherwise women snarl about this, and set about to use this as the al-Qaida for our final ifu project to which we would bring together the perspectives of our deuce disciplines - anthropology and literary criticism.
We were interested in what terminology women used to severalise their health/disease and how the terms available to them actually scrub their bodies, i.e. how does this commitment affect their lived-experience?
